Some programs ago we were judging Donald Trump’s period in office, so now we will focus our attention on one specific aspect of it: US foreign policy in the last four years. It is obvious that the country has shifted from an interventionist role in foreign affairs to a more isolationist position, clearly inspired by classic realism, which can be summed up in the president’s leitmotiv: “America first”.
