SAT-7 PARS reaches viewers who seek basic knowledge about Christianity and those who need encouragement in their Christian faith. Iran is a country of 72 million people, more than sixty percent of whom are under thirty. Many of these young people are dissatisfied with the society around them. Sadly, heavy political restrictions and the poor economy within Iran have caused many young people turn to immoral lifestyles, drugs, and even suicide to escape their desperation.
