How did this group of five 'sad dads' become associated with pop royalty such as Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers? Well, the answer is simple, it all boils down to band member, Aaron Dessner. Whilst The National, rose to success through their indie rock ballads, it was guitarist and keyboardist Aaron Dessner that continued charging ahead. With his gifted skills in producing music, it wasn't long until Aaron became the songsmith behind some of this decade's biggest albums- his famous Long Pond Studios being a hot spot for hosting the pop industry's most-loved talent.
