When I start to work with a corporation, first of all I like to do a brief research about some digital topics. One of the most important is the website, because it is one of the first digital presences that your customer sees when they look for your company and also the content marketing strategy, because without content it is very difficult to position your company in the first place. You cover many areas of interest that our viewers would like to hear more about. What are your thoughts on Data Science? Data science is a trend right now, but although it is a trend, you have to create a strategy for your business in order to get the data and convert it into insights, and if you do that you are very close to success. The term Workforce Transformation is often heard in business today? How would you define Workforce Transformation and how do you see it taking form? The workforce transformation is a part of the digital transformation process in companies. In fact, it is one of the most important issues, and for me it is related with the culture change, because your business is what your workers are, so we have to work very hard on the workforce transformation and people analytics. What is hot in Social Media in Spain right now? Social Media in Spain is in a moment of change, where companies have realized at the end that social networks are very important in of getting leads to convert into customers and use the social data to improve marketing results. How does the Social Media sphere in Spain differ from what you’re seeing trending here in the US? In the US, Social Media is a mature market while in Spain, in general , it is consolidating, so we need more time to get better results from Social Media. Tell us about your blog. I started my b Spanish 7 years ago, and I update two or three times per week talking about Social Media, Digital Marketing, Digital Transformation, Innovation… and I am very happy because I started my b English 6 months ago, so, i have a new challenge. Why did you want to attend SAS Global Forum in the first place? Because the of speakers is amazing, and to learn with a company such as SAS is a privilege for me, so I had no doubt that I had to be here. Is SAS well known in the technology blogosphere? Yeah, for sure, it is a very well know company and I am sure it will be more so in the next few years. What role does analytics play in Social Media today?
