Etapa con 173,5 kilometros de recorrido y que nos llevará desde LOGROÑO hasta EL ALTO DE MONCALVILLO. Día en el que el pelotón no ha permitido que la fuga se fuera a renta optima para disputarse la etapa ya que nos encontrábamos con muchos intereses en juego. Etapa que iba desde LUANCO hasta LAGOS DE COVADONGA por un recorrido de 181,5 kilometros. Etapa en la que hemos visto una gran fuga por delante donde MARC SOLER. Mientras por detrás entre los favoritos de la general la carretera ha ido poniendo a cada uno en el sitio que le pertenecia. En este grupo destacables han sido la actitud tanto de un muy combativo MIKEL LANDA junto a ENRIC MAS. Roglic ha estado defendiéndose y CARAPAZ ha aguantado muy bien. Jornada corta tras la larga etapa del día de ayer, en un día de alta montaña que nos llevaba desde INFIESTO hasta CUITU NEGRU, en esa estación de Pajares y donde se completarían un total de 142,9 kilometros de recorrido. Etapa en la que hemos visto muchísima pelea por conformar la fuga buena del día. Día en el que no ha tomado la salida el joven corredor del Visma Lease a Bike Cian Uijtdebroeks. Etapa muy entretenida tanto por el pulso de los fugados por la victoria de etapa con el pelotón y que donde se llevo el gato al agua la fuga con un Pablo Castrillo y un Kern Pharma insuperables. Y con esa pelea entre los favoritos con un muy activo Enric Mas y un muy valiente Mikel Landa donde Roglic sufrió por segunda vez con Enric Mas. A small breakaway formed during the stage, while Visma Lease a Bike decided to control the race throughout, seeking a victory for Wout Van Aert. Etapa número 13 de esta Vuelta a España 2024 en una jornada de viernes donde volvía la alta montaña, con una jornada de 175,6 kilómetros con salida desde Lugo y cuatro puertos de montaña, el último de ellos el siempre espectacular Puerto de Ancares (1ª categoría) donde terminaría la etapa. Jornada donde hemos presenciado como se preveía dos carreras, la de por delante en esa búsqueda de victoria de etapa y la de detrás en esa lucha por recortar tiempo a Ben O´connor por parte de los favoritos. Roglic ha mostrado estar espectacular y ha conseguido aventajar a todos sus rivales siendo el claro ganador de la jornada de hoy sin olvidar ni menospreciar el grandísimo triunfo conseguido por el corredor canadiense Michael Woods. En una etapa que no ha sido nada buena para el UAE quienes tras tener muy de cara la etapa con 3 corredores en ese grupo selecto de la fuga y cabeza de carrera, veian como en una bajada perdían a 3 de sus 2 corredores en esa lucha por la victoria, ya que veíamos caerse a Jay Vine y Brandon Mcnulty. The 175.6-kilometer journey started in Lugo and featured four mountain es, with the always spectacular Puerto de Ancares (1st category) as the final climb where the stage would end. As expected, we witnessed two races: one at the front in pursuit of the stage victory, and another behind as the favorites sought to cut time on Ben O'Connor. Roglic showed he's in spectacular form, managing to gain an advantage over all his rivals, clearly winning today's stage battle. This is not to overlook or underestimate the great triumph achieved by Canadian rider Michael Woods. It wasn't a good day for UAE, who, despite having a strong position with 3 riders in the select breakaway group at the head of the race, saw their chances for victory diminish when 2 of their 3 riders crashed on a descent. Jornada donde se iba desde OURENSE TERMAL hasta LA ESTACIÓN DE MONTAÑA DE MANZANEDA en una etapa corta, monopuerto, con solo 137,4 kilometros y ese final en alto de manzaneda, puerto de primera categoría. Jornada donde no ha tomado la salida el corredor Lennert Van Eetvelt en un día triste para el mundo del ciclismo por el fallecimiento de Manolo Azcona. Día en el que ha llegado la fuga y donde se ha dado la primera victoria española en esta Vuelta a España, conseguida para mas inri por el equipo continental español del KERN PHARMA y donde todo el equipo y los corredores han querido rendir homenaje al fundador del mismo Manolo Azcona. Gran susto para ENRIC MAS que apuntó estuvo de irse al suelo en el descenso pero que ha demostrado unas grandísimas piernas y valentía pese a no haber obtenido esa recompensa en forma de tiempo con sus competidores.
