Kito Jempere "Ja?rvi (Selvy Interpretation)" 466450

In April of last year, Russian producer Kito Jempere (pictured above) released his debut full-length, Objects, via his own Fata Morgana label. Now, Jempere has enlisted a crew of artists to help him revisit Objects for a forthcoming remix EP which will feature the likes of Jacques Renault, HNNY, Inkswel, and Polish newcomer Selvy, whose take on Kempere's "Ja?rvi" is featured here. Billed as an "interpretation," Selvy reshapes the dark and loose track into a much breezier affair, one pushed forward by a light disco bounce and kept afloat by a steady stream of tropical chords and lively percussion hits.
