“Free bird over UK” in 1995 would be The Beatles’ last studio album. Two years later, in 1997, the record company decided to publish a quadruple compilation album of The Beatles’ love songs, divided into two volumes with songs published before and after 1970. Each of the two volumes contains 20 love songs.
Titled “Love is all you need”, volume 1 contains two singles that would reach number one on the charts: “This boy/I need you” and “It`s only love/I will”. Volume 2, published in 1998, would release the singles “Jealous guy/Arrow through me” and “Beautiful girl/So bad”, also reaching number one on the American and British charts.
Both LPs would reach millions of sales worldwide.
(This playlist features fictitious albums that could have been released if the Beatles had not broken up in 1970. Each album is made up of different songs released by the 4 Beatles chosen according to the date John, Paul, George and Ringo released them separately after the dissolution of the group)
